ETCMCv2 is a completely new project built from the ground up. Unlike typical upgrades, ETCMCv2 has almost nothing to do with the original ETCMC - it's a complete rebuild with better architecture, enhanced security, improved tokenomics, and a more transparent governance system. We've learned from the past and created something entirely new and better.

ETCPOWv2 is the next-generation token that powers the ETCMCv2 ecosystem. It features improved tokenomics, better distribution mechanisms, enhanced security, and greater utility. Unlike v1, ETCPOWv2 has deflationary mechanics, better staking rewards, and serves as the governance token for the new DAO system.

V1 users have specific migration pathways:

• ETCPOW Token Swap: V1 ETCPOW holders can swap to ETCPOWv2 in the presale platform at https://dapp.etcmc.xyz (current rates are favorable)

• OG License Claim: Eligible V1 / OG license holders can claim fresh V2 licenses at a discounted rate (~350 ETCPOW) on the live marketplace at https://main.etcmc.xyz

• Governance: DAO participation is via V2 governance NFTs on main.etcmc.xyz (prior memberships do not carry over)

• Lost Tokens: Lost or inaccessible V1 tokens cannot be recovered for V2 migration

ClaimStake V2 stakes against specific license NFT IDs — not a flat wallet balance.

• 200 ETCPOW per Standard license ID
• 400 ETCPOW per Pro license ID

Stake only the IDs you actively use. The client needs at least one covered ID; payment checks that specific NFT id before claims. Own many licenses, stake a subset — only covered IDs can claim.

Pro is the higher-tier license. Use the Furnace to upgrade: burn 3 Standard licenses into 1 Pro (plus a Furnace fee). Pro IDs require a higher ClaimStake cover (400 ETCPOW vs 200 for Standard) and renew at a higher rate.

Approximate ETCPOW pricing on the live marketplace:

• Mint Standard: ~575 ETCPOW
• Renew: 240 ETCPOW Standard / 480 ETCPOW Pro
• Furnace fee: ~200 ETCPOW (3 Standard → 1 Pro)
• OG claim: ~350 ETCPOW for eligible V1 holders
